Valerie Cherish makes another comeback in a new season that starts on HBO Canada November 8, 2014.
Birdman is the story of a washed up superhero actor (lead actor Michael Keaton in a tour de force performance) trying to revive his career by directing and starring in his own Broadway play. The movie begins with the show’s previews and things are not going well.
Daniel Radcliffe’s cover of Blackalicious’ “Alphabet Aerobics” is impressive.
Before Michael Keaton wowed movie goers in the critically acclaimed feature film as an actor who played a Birdman super hero, there was a different solar powered Birdman superhero. Here’s the opening from one of my favourite cartoon shows and its from 1967.

Stephen Hawking is now on Facebook in advance of his must-see biopic “The Theory of Everything”. Watch the trailer above and scoot over to Facebook if you want to friend him.
Two American hockey teams played each other, but thought to play the Canadian national anthem “O Canada” in a touching show of support on this day of mourning following the second incident in a week of terrorist attacks. It is appreciated.

October 21, 2015 is the date that Marty McFly arrived in the future to solve that problem with his kids that never really materialized. It’s a year away and the future shown in that movie seems to be a long way off. There are no flying skateboards on the street just yet but this company is one that is Kickstarting their way to bringing the hoverboard to the market.
From all appearances, it doesn’t hover very much and relies on a special surface so its practicality would seem to be limited, but have a look by clicking the link below.
Bradley Cooper and Jimmy Fallon discuss the sad story of Joseph Merrick in the most entertaining, unprofessional way possible. The Tonight Show has never been as good as when Jimmy Fallon took over.
Whether on the silver screen or the small screen, Barry Allen has got a gay quality about him. Ezra Miller (that’s him above) has now been cast in the titular role of “The Flash” in the 2018 movie version of the same name, and any and all related Justice League and other DC comics themed movies that may take place over the next 20 years.
